Payouts to models and partners
The Krona.Chat platform calculates what models, studios and webmasters earn and pays it out on a schedule the operator sets. Ordinary banks and popular wallets don't work with the adult industry, so cam payouts go through specialised services — Paxum, Yoursafe and others — and in crypto.
How the platform calculates and makes payouts
Revenue is split on a flexible tree-like structure: between the model, the webcam studio, webmasters and other parties, with one default percentage or an individual one for each model. Partner payouts are earned on a RevShare, CPA or hybrid basis.
- the operator sets the token-to-currency rate, the payout day, how long until earnings become available and the minimum amount — for example, payouts on Mondays, 7 days until earnings unlock and a rate of 20 tokens = $1;
- the model or partner enters a payout method and details in their dashboard, sees the amount due in tokens and in currency, and can pause payouts;
- a manager sends each payout, which doubles as a compliance check;
- payout methods and currencies are set up for your project: wallets, crypto, bank transfers.
Paxum — the wallet of cam models and studios
Paxum is a financial institution licensed in the Commonwealth of Dominica and one of the most widely used payout methods in the cam industry: it has dedicated solutions for webcam models and studios, and Chaturbate, Stripchat, Cam4, Streamate, CamSoda and other sites pay through it.
- the platform or studio sends bulk payouts for a flat fee per transaction — to Paxum wallets, by wire or EFT; there is an API;
- the model receives money in her Paxum wallet and withdraws it by wire, to a local bank account or to her own card, or uses a Paxum card;
- a Paxum-to-Paxum transfer is $0.25, a local bank withdrawal $5, an international wire $25–50, a card withdrawal $6 + 4%;
- sign-up needs ID and proof of address; US residents can open business accounts only.
Yoursafe — a European account for models
Yoursafe (formerly Bitsafe, launched by Verotel in 2018) is a Dutch electronic money institution supervised by De Nederlandsche Bank. The same Yoursafe B.V. is behind the Verotel and CardBilling processors: every Verotel account comes with a Yoursafe business account and pays earnings to models' Yoursafe accounts free of charge — manually or as mass payments.
- the model gets a euro account with her own IBAN and a Visa debit card with Apple Pay;
- opening and keeping the account is €0, transfers between Yoursafe accounts are free;
- withdrawals: SEPA €0.75, SWIFT €25, ACH €5; the card is €29.50 a year;
- the account is opened in the mobile app after an identity check (KYC).
Other payout methods
Cosmo Payment
Payouts to a virtual or plastic debit card issued by a UK-regulated issuer; major adult platforms pay models through Cosmo. The card is $12.95 plus $3 a month; a bank transfer is $5.
Capitalist
A multi-currency wallet for affiliate marketing: USD, EUR, crypto, mass payouts and an API, withdrawals to cards, crypto wallets and bank accounts. Handy for paying webmasters.
USDT and USDC
Stablecoin payouts (TRC20, ERC20) — fast and bank-free; major adult platforms have used them for years. For recipients in the EU choose USDC: since MiCA took full effect, EU exchanges have delisted USDT. Transfers are irreversible, so the network and address must be right.
SEPA, SWIFT, ACH
Direct bank transfers to the model's or studio's account. Not for everyone: many banks refuse accounts that receive money from the adult industry, so they are usually offered alongside wallets.
Services that don't work for paying cam models
- Payoneer — prohibits adult services, including pay-per-view and adult live chat;
- Wise — explicitly prohibits services of a sexual nature, including webcam shows;
- PayPal — adult content, webcam included, only with prior approval, which in practice isn't given; in 2019 PayPal stopped payouts to Pornhub models;
- Skrill — prohibits obscene content, and live streaming needs prior approval.
Why you need more than one payout method
Payout services in the adult industry do fail from time to time: in 2018 a partner bank stopped servicing Paxum cards and models in Colombia went two pay periods without their money; in 2020 Paxum cards stopped after Wirecard collapsed, and the UK wallet ePayments froze accounts at the regulator's request. That's why we recommend connecting 2–3 payout methods — for example Paxum, Yoursafe and crypto.
